Where Will My Purchase Be Coming From?

Our unique business model allows us to import stock for our online retail shop(s) from all over the world, which means while most goods are stocked here in Australia, depending on the destination some are sent directly from our overseas suppliers. We reserve the right to determine the most cost effective source of goods.

 

Questions About Payment

Is It Secure To Order Through This Site?

The payment processors we use are secure and highly recognised as reputable online payment systems. We do not see or store your credit card details when you make an online payment.

You may also choose to pay for your purchase by direct deposit to our bank account. If you choose to pay by direct deposit our bank deposit details will be made available when you have completed the checkout process.

What Are My Options For Payment?

  • Direct deposit via internet banking (preferred)
  • Direct deposit into our account at any Bendigo Bank branch
  • We also take Money Orders, and Credit Cards 2.5 % surcharge applies by phone (Please contact us for details)
  • Paypal Payments to verified addresses only.
  • All Payments must be made within 3 days of placing your order unless other arrangements have been made. Please endeavour to complete payment within this period.
  • If Paying using Direct Deposit, please provide proof of payment in the form of Receipt copy, Reference number etc. via email (sales[@]digitalelectronics.com.au)

Who Pays Customs Duties?

In the unlikely event that a Customs Duty is applicable to a purchase the customer is responsible for payment of that duty. You will be notified by the shipping agent if there is a customs duty due.

All items under $1000 AUD are not subject to Australian Customs duty.

Is My Order Insured?

All our goods are fully insured for the full retail value of the item.

How Long Will It Take To Receive My Order?

Please allow up to 21 days for final delivery, however most Items will be delivered within 7 (working) Days.

When Will My Order Be Shipped?

All products are shipped within 2-4 days of confirmed receipt of Payment. (You will be notified when payment has been received.)

If you choose to pay by PayPal funds will normally clear to our account within 3-4 working days.

If paying by direct deposit please email your deposit slip to us (sales[@]digitalelectronics.com.au (remove []), and we will process your order upon receipt.

How Will My Order Be Delivered?

WE ONLY USE registered post and courier services as registered couriers provide a unique identification number for every article. Proof of postage, proof of delivery and free insurance.

We use a combination of Australia Post, FedEX, UPS, and Private Couriers to deliver items in a safe and timely manner; door-to-door.

You do not need to choose a shipping method during checkout as we will ensure your product is sent by the most economic means for that particular product.

Do You Ship Outside Australia?

All international customers are welcome as we ship worldwide.

How About The Quality Of Goods?

All our products are 'Brand New' and 100% Genuine unless otherwise stated. In 99% of cases our goods are factory sealed and unopened. We carry out spot checks from time-to-time to ensure ongoing quality control.

You may be tempted to purchase for a slightly lower price from international sellers, and in most cases you will find that they will send you a refurbished or even a copy of an original product and say that it is brand new.

The same applies for certain Australian sellers who simply can't tell if the product is brand new, refurbished or not genuine, they are just going on their Asian Suppliers word.

There are many fakes and copies on the market and it is hard to tell the 'real deal' sometimes. We ourselves have been bitten many times by unscrupulous suppliers. That is why we have spent years establishing excellent relationships with our trusted suppliers to ensure you get 100% original manufacturer and genuine product i.e.. Sony made by Sony, Nokia made by Nokia.

We import all of our digital cameras, camcorders and other products from overseas and pass on the greatly reduced price to our customers.

 

Questions About Warranties

What Happens If I Have A Problem With My Item?

The majority of the products listed on Digital Electronics Australia have a 12 month warranty unless otherwise stated. In the unlikely event that you have a problem you need to contact us via email or telephone first to arrange a Return Application. The product must be sent back to us for inspection if found faulty we arrange replacement or repair to that item.

Please be aware if the product is found not to be faulty under the warranty conditions a service fee of $50 will apply.

What Are Your Return Policies?

Returns are accepted on products that classify as "DOA" Dead On Arrival. This means that the product does not work when you receive it.

All our products are to be returned within 7 days to our Australian main business office. Please contact via email for instructions on returns procedure.

Returned products will be tested for faults by Manufacturer. Should it be found that damage to the product is due to deliberate cause, or cause not bound by warranty such as water damage, excessive shock, improper use - warranty will be void and customer will need to pay all costs associated with the sending/receiving and fixing of product. A Manufacturers certificate of Inspection will be provided.

All returned items must be in Brand New condition as you have received the item. This includes all boxes, plastic protectors, cables & bounding and all documentation that you have received with your purchase.

No returns will be issued on purchases that you simply do not want because you have changed your mind. All our product listings contain comprehensive descriptions, in most cases straight from the manufacturer. You are also encouraged to do your own research about the product if you feel this our product listing does not provide a clear overview of what you're about to purchase.
